Hey Ethan, these works by Shakespeare all do have a theme of the quest for power within them, and a warning about this conquest (E. Stonebraker, personal communication, August 30, 2017). For instance, within A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Oberon’s thirst for power of Titania creates mayhem for Lysander, Hermia, Helena, and Demetrius regarding their love lives (Shakespeare, 2014a). However, this lust for power over Titania led to her loving a mortal, another male, and possessing the head of an ass (Shakespeare, 2014a, 3.3.136, 112). Consequently, this quest for power over Titania created issues for numerous lives within this play without initial care.
Within The Tragedy of King Richard the Second, there are numerous calamities that erupt due to
