Whether you like to read or not, the famous Shatter Me book in the six-book series by Tahereh Mafi reveals many themes of fan favorite characters that really pop out. Because of the title "Shatter Me," you'd think some of the themes would be sadness, hate, and anger. However, a closer look into this book reveals that love was one of the themes that stood out the most. In the book Shatter Me, three characters who showed acts of love are Aaron Warner, Adam Kent, and Julliete Ferrars. Aaron Warner’s love for Juliette is evident throughout the book, as he never stops trying to protect her and help her realize her worth. Although Warner locked Juliette in an asylum for 264 days because whoever she touches gets hurt, the time that Warner let Juliette out has made him realise he is attracted to her. They all love someone in their own ways, and they want to understand each other. By looking at all three of these characters, who share a similar theme, we see how they have all felt isolated, alone, and hurt by people they trusted the most. Warner because of his father, Julliete because of her parents and partly Warner, and Adam because he was betrayed and shot by Warner for helping Julliette escape. Aaron Warner, Adam Kent, and Juliette Ferrars' journeys were shaped by their experiences with love and the different forms it takes. Love helps them find their own voice, to stand up for themselves, and to find their own worth. It helps them overcome their own traumas and protect others. It is a powerful force that shapes their characters and drives the story. Through their journeys, Aaron, Adam, and Juliette learn that love is a complex emotion that exists in many
