Theodore Roosevelt demonstrated how to be a fantastic president. He accomplished many things to help our country strive: he was the first president to address the issue of big business abuse, he led the U.S. into a greater position of power in the family of nations, he demonstrated equality by breaking the color barrier among White House guests, and he fought for the preservation of America’s wilderness. First, Roosevelt’s “trust-busting” is celebrated because he promoted the rule that corporations’ interests must be collateral to national interests.
