For the informational interviews of a female leader, I invited and interviewed one of my connections in the community who is a community therapist. Her name is Vanessa Pence. She’s Caucasian women with brunette hair and hazel eyes. Her birth date is June 2, 1987, and her age is 30, and her graduate from Wright State University with Master Degree in Social Work. At first Vanessa started college as a pre-med major, but she changes her major after a meeting with Psychology Club and Psi Chi. Next, at the age 25 Vanessa was offered a therapist position, and Vanessa has been at community south for two years, and Vanessa is a comprehensive Dual Recovery Therapist. The second key point made by each interview participant is that leader separating work from home and home from work. The third key point made by each interview participant is that ladies encounter stereotyping for being young. The fourth key point made by each interview participant is that leaders have control of their progress and growth. The fifth key point made by each interview participant is that life event is a pivotal moment for a career change. The sixth key point made by each interview participant is that the family member has huge impact on each lady’s life and choices. The seventh key point made by each interview participant is that being a mentor is not force, just happens. Vanessa stated that “any woman working will experience this balancing family life with work life.” Tara state that women will let the stigmas and stereotypes define them and society's view on femininity.” Dashauna state that “the issues women face is that they don’t get taken seriously, the leadership roles/positions, and society feel that women are not as intelligent enough to be in a position of leadership because that is a man’s place to be authorities.” This made me realize that women in leadership position will struggle with balancing work and family, not be taken seriously and do not let the stigma and stereotypes define them. Based on this, I can infer that women leader need to be confident, accept criticism, and do not accept society
