This is the album that he will be remembered and set the standards for all of his future album releases. New Jersey born, and Georgia raised, Russ has established a successful career for himself in the hip-hop industry. Over the past decade, the rapper has made a name for himself as an Atlanta artist. He portrays that with the use of his lyrics, “I’m pulling up at 3, this car just aint the same without you.” Along the theme of love songs in his album, Russ wrote his most famous song “Losin Control.” This song is written in a 3rd person point of view regarding a girl whom is terrified to fall in love due to her past relationships and being hurt. He gets the point across with his lyrics “She’s falling but she doesn’t think he’ll catch her. Cause her last relationship was a disaster.” The guy in the song wants to let her know that he isn’t like any other guys and he wants to be there for her despite her past.
