Many teachers seem to understand obvious disabilities such as blindness, hard of hearing and other physical disabilities, and appear almost sympathetic toward those children. They seem, however, to have a preconception about children with ADHD or just hyperactivity, believing them to be lazy or deliberately troublemaking with normal classes having many barriers to learning, such as having a large pupil-teacher ratio and poor teacher resources, children with Special Needs are often medicated in order for teachers to cope with the demands of teaching.
