Romeo wants to see Juliet again so he hides on the Capulet property and ditches Benvolio and Mercutio. Benvolio and Mercutio shoutout nasty things about Rosaline, hoping that Romeo will come out to defend her. He still doesn’t come out so the two give up and head home without Romeo.

I received a positive feeling from this scene. I received that feeling because I assumed that Romeo was purposely hiding from Benvolio and Mercutio so he could find Juliet. I found it very positive overall that Romeo would risk his life by staying on Capulet property just so he could see his true love.

Romeo is risking his life by remaining on Capulet property, so the two whisper their confessions of undying love for eachother. The two plan to wed the next day and Juliet tells Romeo that she will sent a messenger to him the next day to finalize the wedding plans.

Shakespeare convinces the audience that all will be well by laying out a future for Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet confess their love for eachother and plan to get married the next day. A wedding for Romeo and Juliet convinces the reader that the two will be married and have a long and happy life together.
