Not many have influenced and impacted the profession of education as largely as Dr. Richard DuFour. DuFour’s dedication and passion for teachers, students, and education as a whole will go unmatched for decades to come, and will never be forgotten. Richard DuFour has brought attention to educational professional learning communities, teacher collaboration, and educational research, all focusing on the main goal of student achievement and learning. Throughout his life and career, Dr. DuFour lead with passion, purpose, and strong leadership that held an impact on everyone in with which he came in contact.
The first two chapters of this book deal with the mindset that we as teachers must have in incorporating the framework and pedagogy into our classrooms. In becoming a culturally responsive teacher you must look at validation, affirmation, building, and bridging. In validation, we have a responsibility to our students to legitimize their culture and language. In being a teacher, rapport I with your students is critical in your success for reaching your students.

A critique of the literature will contextualise the rational for choosing the subject and its relevance to current practice. The paper will also, explore the strength and weakness CW has on SUE. According to the article “What is IQ?” by Mensa International, IQ is “a type of standard score that indicates how far above, or how far below, his/her peer group an individual stands in mental ability. The peer group score is an IQ of 100; this is obtained by applying the same test to huge numbers of people from all socio-economic strata of society, and taking the average” (Mensa).
This learning actively greatly assisted in building my confidence, which I required in order to be successful in the new graduate RN role. Good collaborative working relationships are based on clear communication and collaboration with the patient and all members of the healthcare team. (Kieft, et al. 2014 ) This semester I had no issues with regards to speaking with physicians and other members of the healthcare team, and I continued to actively participated and contributed to daily rounds on all 3 critical care units.

Boost Juice is an Australian organisation that specialises in making juice, but has also recently opened ‘Salsa’ stores as well. They started in 2000 and since then have opened 250 stores in 12 different countries (Boost Juice, n.d.). This report analyses the organisational culture, management and leadership styles of Boost Juice as well as how they engage and motivate employees in the documentary Undercover Boss. An issue and strength will also be identified within this and recommendations will be made. Finally, the Undercover Boss method with be evaluated in order to support the recommendations made.
