Thomas Jefferson was a smart man. He was the author of the Declaration of Independence and also had input into the writing of the Constitution. He once said, "The Constitution belongs to the living and not to the dead." Jefferson said this because the world is ever changing. There are always improvements made everything and more people are born thus more opinions are formed.
My poster is promoting Thomas Jefferson to be elected as the third president during the election of 1800 including my arguments why. I wrote and added a lot of meaning in the phrase, “Surely, if you are looking for someone to have a beer with you, turn to Aaron Burr. Otherwise, if you are looking for someone to run YOUR country, turn to Thomas Jefferson”. This phrase showed that despite how approachable Aaron Burr was that you could ‘have a beer with him’ was not United States president material. Thomas Jefferson was born in Shadwell, Virginia, April 13th, 1743. He died July 4th, 1826 in Monticello near Charlottesville. During this time Thomas Jefferson was voted U.S Vice President, U.S. Governor, Government Official, Diplomat and of course U.S. President. He attended College of William and Mary. Their search for a suitable replacement lead them to selecting remarkable a professor who had barley even been there for a year: a man named Thomas Cooper. A controversial and educated figure, Cooper went on to greatly shape the policy and history of the College for over a decade with his various contributions to the educational requirements of the curriculum. His father had been dead for three years and his mother would never be able to afford to send him where he wanted to go.
