The invention we people hold dearest today. Thomas Edison was an eager and creative person with a mind of unimaginable capabilities filled with desires and dreams. Thomas Edison invented the commercial light bulb because he yearned for a way to see within the darkness. Lamps and fire were short-lived and would cause fires. During the 1800’s many people used kerosene lamps to illuminate their pathways and homes, with Edison’s idea, he could become successful and change the world along with making American citizens and homes a little more safer.
