Thomas Jefferson “Sometimes it is said that man can not be trusted with government of himself. Can he, then be trusted with the government of others.” I said (Waldman 21). Even though I kept over 600 slaves I believe that all men are created equal. Ever since I was a child my father taught me to be a leader which was what got me into presidency. I was born all the way back in April 13, 1743 Albermarie Country (Biography.com Editors). Even though I didn’t know it at the time I was born into one of the most prominent families in Virginia. My Mothers name is Jane Randolph Jefferson, and my fathers name is Peter Jefferson (Biography.com Editors). My father was a successful farmer and very good surveying (Biography.com Editors).
