I am writing to inform you of my interest in pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at Norwich University. I would pursue a concentration in Non-Profit Management. I have completed my application and submitted the documents that are necessary for my consideration into this program for the fall 2017 semester. I currently have a Bachelor’s of Arts in History from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) and I graduated with a 3.660 GPA. My degree in history has allowed me to develop many skills that would be valuable in the Public Administration program at Norwich. These skills include competent writing, invasive reading, analyzing and public speaking. My extra-curricular have helped me adopt the personal skills that are necessary to be successful in a career with public administration. While at MCLA, I held the position of Senior Peer Advisor where I was given the opportunity and ability to mentor freshmen throughout their incoming year at the college, and develop programs to make their transition to college go smoothly. Through my work for this program, I was awarded the Leadership Achievement Award at MCLA in my senior year. I am attracted to this specific program at your school, because it encompasses a variety of topics that are interesting to me. I feel that this program is what I need to achieve my academic and career goals. It was imperative I found a program that fit me and I thought I could be a good fit to. MCLA helped me become a great student and potential career person. However, the work I could potentially do at Norwich University would only help me further where my career
