Social class has been found in almost all societies and countries because it is how a society can organize itself and function properly. As the structural functionalism theorist, Emile Durkheim claims, that every part of the society serve an important role in keeping the society in line (Replogle, 2018). So, whatever class a person is in matters as long as if one class fails to do their job, it will permeate to the other classes creating an immense destruction to the whole society. Inevitably the importance of social class has been essential. The way our society is stratified came from how our forefathers set up this country in what is called, “three class model”. Which is how three class model divides the society into the upper, middle and poor class based on social and economic status. I was not surprised by the results considering since little my parents told me which class they were. So over the years I have adapted to that mentality and environment of being part of a middle class. What is considered middle class in my terms would be a person making the average median income, have a family, a professional or business worker, live in or near decent neighborhoods and schools. Overall, individuals or families who aren’t really poor or really rich, would be considered in the middle class. Yet, what is considered poor are those who are living under the poverty line, no shelter, no job, etc. On the extreme a rich person, would have everything opposite of poor, rich, high paying job, big house, family, a luxurious lifestyle, etc. Remarkably, between the classes there are distinct factors that have an immense impact on the classes making them each
