The objective of a school setting is to help students learn and grow. Students go to school to learn, so they become well-educated people. There is no exact date on when the school was built or much about the history of the school. But, in 1980, a tornado destroyed the school which left nothing of the school. The school had to be rebuilt and more classrooms were added to the school to be able to accommodate more students. It is a Catholic School, so the school must teach certain things within different the grade levels. Each teacher knows that they also must teach to faith, knowledge and stewardship within their subjects. Each of the subjects falls back on faith, knowledge and stewardship teachings.

The effects of the communication are not always there because the teachers don’t feel the need to talk about things to help improve the school system since the organization might not be able to do anything. When a student needs additional help and the school won’t help by finding the help for the student, they will always struggle. Students will think that they are unable to do the work because they don’t get the help that they need. Technology is a big help for the students because the teachers can use this as a source to help them, but the funds must be there to get the right programs that are needed. “Leaders create a positive work environment and focus their efforts on a deliverable, and the downside is that that their style often inhibits thinking outside the box” (Rooke, 2006). When managing a school setting, there are always goals that need to be met. The administration needs to set short term and long-term goals that need to be met whether it be what the teachers need to teach each year to improvement in students test grades. There are always goals that are set and that need to be met in a school system. There are always tasks that need to be done or met in a school system. Usually to accomplish tasks, there is a reward or even consequences for students or staff. The rewards and consequences are laid out for each, and they are very clear.
