There are three types of rhetorical appeals. These strategies are ethos, logos, and pathos. Ethos is the Greek term for “ethics.” However, it has been prospected as the credibility of the individual during the communication process. Ethos can be achieved through status, professionalism, researches, and many other ways. Logos is the Greek term for “logic” or “reasoning.” Logos often indicate proof or evidence that supports an assertion. Using logos is an effective way to convince the audience that the information provided are both realistic and practical.
