(DOK 2) The types of presents the Travis brothers have brought to the Gonzales brothers in the past are boxes of clothes, Turkeys each November, or canned ham on Easter. The Travis brothers started to bring these types of presents each year since the children started to get high grades. The author has been saying that these are helpful and wise gifts to bring to the children by calling the Travises brothers “wise guys”.
