Thumbs up for NMC GCC and NMC has a great difference from each other. Students are looking for a good school to go on in which will help them become ready in the profession they are looking forward to. As a freshman in College, choosing which University to go is necessary. Students make sure that the degree that they want is being offered in the school I chose to go to, that they have enough money to support their educational needs and fees, also, that they’ll feel comfortable and safe in the school’s area. The cost of living, scholarships, and tuition of GCC and NMC differs. Comparing the two colleges, it clearly shows me the advantages of going to NMC. Applying for these scholarships can help reduce your fees. But not all of the said scholarships is eligible for all students. Some are only for Japanese, Asian, and Oceanian. Going to NMC, to me, is more convenient, wise, and less spending. NMC offers a lot of local and federal scholarships. They offer the Federal Pell Grant (FAFSA), Saipan Chamber of Commerce Scholarship, Saipan Higher Education Financial Assistance (SHEFA), CNMI Scholarship, Businesswoman of the Year Scholarship, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program, and lots of more other scholarships that helps students in their needs.
