Every day seem like a normal day in every part of the world, the sun rises, people wake up and do their every day routine, animals hunt for food and some other animals get away from predators. There are humans, and the other living things, who die every single day. It is perfectly normal, and then eventually the sun will set. However, there is actually a particular weather phenomenon that is like a combination of lightning and a volcanic eruption. Sounds pretty scary but it is actually real. It is called a dirty thunderstorm but also known as thunder volcano or volcanic lightning. It is basically a type of thunderstorm, but the lighting doesn't come from the storm clouds, instead it is actually generated within the ash cloud that comes from the volcano, which is known to be the process of charge separation According to Martin A. Uman, who is one of the directors from the University of Florida Lightning Research program, the downward plume actually works as if it has a life of its own because it actually produces about 300 lightning bolts. Another study conducted by the Science journal said that when a ash, rock fragments and ice particles generated it produces electrical charges. These volcanic lightnings happened in different volcanos all over the world like in Italy, Chile, and Mexico.

It was actually discovered in 1971 by Jacques Cousteau, who declared this place as one of the best scuba diving sites in the world. It was also discovered to be a typical karst limestone formation that is actually formed before the sea rises in sea level. It's initial measured depth was 410 ft.
It is actually a popular spot for scuba divers because of its crystal clear water with different species of fish. However only, certified scuba divers can get into the caving diving and mixed gases. The Great Blue Hole was Discovery Channel’s Top Most Amazing Places on Earth in 2012.
