Tim Burton uses a bunch of techniques like, camera angles, panorama, but im only going to talk about three of is cinematic techniques today, and those techniques are Music, Flashbacks, and Lighting. One of his most effective techniques he uses today is the dramatic sound of music.Burton uses music to set the tone.For example in one of his classics “ Edward Scissorhands”.One of the characters named “Peg” was driving thru a bright little town while there was joyful/cheerful music playing. Until she drove up to Edward's house there was a dramatic change in tone. There was mysterious/gloomy music playing.
