Tim Burton has once again created a unique and entertaining movie. This time, The movie is about a man who was created by an inventor (Vincent Price) who died before being able to give him proper hands named Edward (played by Johnny Depp) who lives in an old, dilapidated Mansion on the top of a hill on the edge of 50’s-60’s suburbia, and a door to door Saleswoman named Peg (Dianne West) who works for a makeup company. When Peg tries her luck at selling something to the inhabitant of the old mansion, she discovers Edward in the upper loft of the house scared, alone and clueless, Peg decides to take Edward home with her. From this point on, funny antics, interesting characters, plot, setting and romance ensue in a wild ride of emotions in Tim Burton’s newest film, Edward Scissor Hands. …show more content…

Some characters, such as Edward, are more dark and depressing while other characters, like Kim (Winona Ryder), are portrayed as happier and brighter. Edwards costume is by far one of the more detailed ones seen in the movie. He is dressed in a black, leather jacket with gold rings and silver thumbtack looking things on it. The lighting is also used to help develop the characters like Edward with low key lighting and dark tones with lots of shadows. Characters like Kim are dressed in colorful clothes and have light, fluffy looking hair with makeup to give her a bright appearance thus the use of high key lighting best describing
