The autobiography “Through My Eyes” is a very inspirational book. Starting out at a young age Timothy Richard Tebow loved sports. Tim was the youngest of 4 siblings. Christy, Katie, Robbie, and Peter. He was born August 14th, 1987 in Makati, Philippines. Tim’s parents were baptist missionaries named Bob and Pam Tebow. While he was young, Tim always wanted to play football. He loved watching football with his dad. Although he was still too young to play football, Tim got to play tee ball. Right off the bat Tim was gifted. He will even tell you to this day he has always been more naturally gifted playing baseball. When Tim got older he wanted to start working out. He asked his dad countless times if he would by him a weight set. The answer was always no. Tim’s dad felt the need for kids to wait until a certain age to start conditioning with weights, so tim was told he would not receive workout equipment until he got his first pimple. Tim and his brothers would play whatever sport was in season. They were all very competitive so they were given a rule: they were forbidden from talking about their own accomplishments, unless asked first by someone else. Tim’s parents based this new rule on the ambonition found in Proverbs 27:2: Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips. This is how Tim and his brothers grew up to be humble. This created character. Tim and his brothers were given a dollar any time someone complimented to their mom or dad about them. Tim started playing sports for a school. Although they were homeschooled, him and his siblings could play sports for certain schools. Tim was the third in his family to play sports at Jacksonville Trinity Christian Academy. He began playing quarterback on Trinity’s JV team in the 8th grade. They went undefeated that year and
