However, their fortunes changed in 1960 with the release of "A Fool in Love," which soared to the top of the pop charts, kickstarting a string of hit singles. Tina and Ike got married in 1962, although the exact date remains unknown, as Ike claimed they were never legally married during their subsequent divorce proceedings in 1977.
In 1966, Tina Turner and Ike achieved international success with the album "River Deep—Mountain High," produced by the legendary Phil Spector.
