To Kill A Mockingbird Essay
Who is the most courageous person you know? Why is that? Did they speak in front of hundreds of people? Did they save a family pet from a house fire? Why is this the person that comes to mind? Some people come to mind, not necessarily what they do but what they say. Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird details the life of a brother, Jem, and sister, Scout, who grow up in a time of racial inequality and unrest. In her book, Harper Lee shows us courage means standing up for what is right no matter the cost even if it seems that everybody else is against you.
Harper Lee makes it crystal clear what courage looks like through the character of Atticus.
