Boo Radley and Tom Robinson are both symbolized by the mocking bird. Boo Radley is symbolized by the mockingbird. He is a sweet, gentle, innocent man. He looks out for the children, and leaves gifts for them. Boo left gifts inside the tree outside of his house for them to find and keep.
They thought that because he was black he was not telling the truth. Tom Robinson was so tired of the white people calling him names and not believing him that he decided to run away and that is when his life ended. In summary, I believe that Boo and Tom are symbols that symbolizes the mockingbird. These two men are caring and nice. They are innocent and they both try to tell people that they are not guilty or bad.

The dad in the family is a lawyer and he is defending a black man who is accused of rape. Atticus knows that he won’t win the case, but he is still doing it. The people in the town are criticizing the family.

This book is about a tomboy named Scout and her older brother Jem, who are growing up during the Great Depression in a small town, which is Maycomb, Alabama. They met a boy named Dill, and Scout has started the first grade, but unfortunately for her it’s not what she thought it would be. She also meets her teacher Miss Caroline who spanks her for knowing how to read and defending a friend, Walter Cunningham who is from a poor family who will not take anything they cannot pay back, and Burris Ewell, one of the stinky, homeless, rule breaking Ewells. The town scare is Boo (Arthur) Radley, and everyone is pretty much afraid of the Radleys and their house.

Boo Radley and Tom Robinson are both symbolized by the mockingbird. In To Kill a Mockingbird it states that “it is a sin to kill a mockingbird” since they never act in malice and only give (Lee 103). Tom Robinson is like a mockingbird in that he is innocent, and he is an upstanding man. Harper Lee does a great job of depictig Tom as a decent man. Calpurnia says that Tom is a good man, when Atticus asks for her input on his character.
Have you ever wondered what the moral of life is? In To Kill a Mockingbird, the community works together to teach the children moral lessons. The community teaches the children about courage, equality, and how it is like to stand in someone’s shoes. These lessons help the children understand that it is okay to be different from everyone.
Harper Lee innovatively gives the typical symbolism of the mockingbird to investigate the equity issues inside of the Maycomb group. Each of the three characters that were spoken to by the mockingbird - Tom Robinson, Boo Radley and Atticus Finch - were all connected together, regardless of the possibility that in diverse ways. All were blameless. All were of seen underhandedness - Boo for the stories, Tom for his wrongdoing and Atticus for conflicting with the social standard. All were casualties of bias.
I have finished reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. There were 376 pages total in the book. This book is about a family of three. The family is made up of two kids Scout, Jem and their dad Atticus. Atticus defends a black man in court for a crime he did not commit.
