I will write diary entries about a book “To Kill A Mockingbird”. The purpose of this text type is to retell a series of events through Boo Radley’s point of view. Through a little boy’s perspective, this text type will show innocence of a little boy - Boo Radley, one of good in prejudice society. This will be based on chapter 1-10 of the original book. Since it is a form of diary, the 1st person is the narrator who tells the story and reflects on the events. The diary entries will be written in informal language and not using high level of language since the narrator is a little boy. Also, past tense will be used to locate events in relation to the narrator’s time. To retell the story efficiently, entries will be written in a time order.
