A brief summary of the novel to kill a mockingbird is about a lawyer who has high moral standards and his two children Scout and Jem. The book has many ethos including non racists and racist views of people and social code of the past. It is Important to see how much has changed since the past and how much has stayed the same. On page 362 when jem was injured due to an attack that was plotted by mr.eule boo aka arthur radley helped the children by pushing mr.eule away from the children and taking jem home to attics where he then called a doctor and got gem medical attention. This I feel is a really good example of the moral ethos in this book because it taught the children to never judge a book by its cover. In the beginning boo was described as a monster a conniving evil human being who would sneak out of his home to eat living creatures. But this was not the case.
