Through ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ we read through the eyes of a person named Jean Louise. Jean Louise tells her story about the case of events from the beginning where she was a little innocence girl known then as scout through emotionally and physically changing into a more responsible and supporting daughter to her father Atticus. As Jean recounts the events through the story about her father when she was younger. As a reader I don’t find this as a well enough reliable source of information revolving around the life of living in the town of Maycomb and the important events that occurred with her father and Tom Robinson because her memory from then to now could have forgotten some minor detail or some other events that tie into the main point …show more content…

For example when the court case was on and Jem went to sleep after being in there for hours Scout could have went to sleep but can’t remember and might of missed out on information that was said by the lawyers or jury an putting her own spin on the story. Even though her dad lost the case she could of made it out that her did better then what he would have done maybe not backing up the accused more but she made it out that way that he should have won. Another thing about the narrator even though it’s a reliable source of information it’s not at the same time because there is no other character telling the story of what happened but her, so we as readers have no there point of view or side to look from. So there is a possibility that she is twisting the story to make her family look good in this situation that they are very honest and caring people towards the community of Maycomb, in fact they could be the complete opposite been told from another person but we don’t know that because we don't have another story to look at or we weren't actually there when these events proceeded there having to believe what she says. In saying that from what Jean Louise is saying sounds completely honest relating to the
