There are lots of examples throughout her movie like how she is the same person inside and out and that she stands her ground even when scared and will always do what she thinks is right even though people in her family and around her won’t approve. For example, Lee has Scout stand up to multiple people through the novel like when Scout stands up to Miss. Caroline for Walter even though Miss. Caroline gets mad at her for speaking for Walter. In chapter 2 it is Scout’s first day of school, her teacher Miss. Caroline kept picking on Scout from the very beginning especially after finding out Scout could read.
