The Novel to Kill a Mockingbird is a great book that is filled with emotions. Most of Scouts jorney is spent learning from her dad Atiucus, uncle jack and her Aunt Alexandra. Because this book in so intense and an emotional story, our main character Scout learns from others about their experience causing her to have more emotional depth towards others.

Atticus teaches Scout a lot of moral values throughout the book while learning himself about the difference between good and bad people. During a conversation in the book between Atticus and scout, Aticus states “ You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view . . . until you climb into his skin and walk around in it(Harper Lee ch.9).'' Although Scout has made it clear that in the beginning of the book she did not like her Aunt and held little respect for her, over the course of the book Scout and her Aunt become closer. When Tom Robison was shot to death Scout saw a different side of Aunt Alexandra whail she talked about her brother “I can’t say I approve of everything he does, Maudie, but he’s my brother, and I just want to know when this will ever end.” Her voice rose: “It tears him to pieces. He doesn’t show it much, but it tears him to pieces(Harper Lee ch. 24). Scout learned from this conversation that Aunt Alexandra cares about her brother she does not show it often in fear that like her brother she would be shunned and be considered an outcast for believing what her brother was doing was right. During this little speech, we also get a closer glimpse into how Scout slowly starts to respect her Aunt and also begins to enjoy participating in activities with Aunt Alexandra. Uncle Jack and Scout have a rocky relationship throughout the book, including the incident where Scout get in trouble and tries to explain her side of the stroy but Uncle refuses to listen to her. When Scout is crying in her room she over heres a conversation between Uncle Jack and atticus But don't make a production of it. Children are children, but they can spot an evasion quicker than adults, and evasion simply muddles 'em(Harper Lee Ch. 9)." from this conversation both Uncle Jack and Scout learn a valuable lesson, no matter how much you apologies to a person thay can still use that sitcusion against you. During this part of the book not only does atticus teach Scout and Uncle jack something, but Scout and Ucle Jack teach valuable lessons to echother. when he finally comes into her room to apolijys about the sichwation Scout repomands Ucle Jack about not letting her talk about the events that happened and explained her side of the story. While Uncle jack counter act this debate with saying what she is saying is ture, he has no kids of his own making it hard to understand them or there personalities
