Have you ever read “To Kill a Mockingbird” I have and it is such a good book you should read it. It talks a lot about race relationships which is the topic I am going to talk about. There were a lot of issues with race relationships these days and I think a lot of people want to change it. Harper Lee’s fictional novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, there is so much hate with black people and white people back in the day manly they just don’t get along very well. Scout struggles to understand these things because she is still a little girl and not understanding the way people are these days.Back in the days it can be determined that these laws back then and now have not really changed but have changed somewhat.

If someone back then were to break a law about lets say for an example if a white lets a black drink out of the same water fountain as them and if someone found out it would cost them. This shows how race's were back then compared to know. This second claim will state another way we see racism in the 1930's.In chapter 14 "They c'n go loose and rape up the countryside for all of ‘em who runs this country care".This is racist because it is saying that blacks are the only people who rape white’s which is so not true.He despises Negroes, won’t have one near him”.This explains my evidence because it is saying that basically what my novel evidence says about whites and blacks. So back then a lot of people didn’t like blacks and I have no reason why I think because the whites thought they were better back then the blacks which is so dumb cause everyone should be treated the same no matter …show more content…

Colored folks won’t have them cause there half white and white folks won’t have them because there half black. This is important to my statement because it is saying that now is a lot better then things were back then. And it is important to my thesis because when someone is half black and half white no one really wants them cause there half white and half black so they don’t really fit in back in the1930s.”The white race deems itself to be the dominant race in this county”.This proves my claim because it is saying about how people were not treated equal back then and some people are still not treated as equally’s.Another way things have changed since the 1930s is the way they talk to blacks or call them out.Why don’t you just get a colored man?”This is important for my statement because back in my statement it talks about race and how people were treated.“ The one thing that does not abide by majority rule is person conscience”. This proves my claim above because it is talking about how people say them and talked about them I would
