In the novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” Scout shows intelligence and curiosity character traits. Scout shows her intelligence by being able to read at a young age. Since most of the first graders can read scout is the only one who can. After Scout reads the alphabet and Miss Caroline was very surprised. “ she discovered that I was liberated and looked at me with more than faint distaste.
Her school teacher, Miss Caroline, tells her that she cannot read at home because her father doesn’t know how to teach. After confronting Atticus about her problem he says that “[People] never really understand a person until they consider things from his point of view” (39). This is a lesson about considering things from another person’s perspective, which is good for Scout to learn because she tends to judge people based on their looks or ways of doing things. This lesson will help her in real life because before she judges someone, considering their point of view will help her understand other people’s opinions. To end, Atticus teaches Scout a lesson about seeing things from others perspective.
Jean Louise Finch (Scout) is a captivating narrator who compels the reader to listen to the story through her personality. In the novel To Kill a Mockingbird, the author, Harper Lee, uses narration, dialogue, and setting to unravel Scout’s courageous, touchy, and rather inquisitive nature in an inventive and thrilling way. In order to adequately understand Scout as a character, the reader must look deeper to look into her mind rather than skimming the first layer. “‘You never really know a person until you consider things from his point of view...’” (Harper Lee 39).
Scout is also a very intelligent to be so young. For example “… after making me read most of my first reader and the stock market quotations from the mobile register aloud, she discovered that I was literate and looked at me with more faint distaste.’ (lee 22) miss caroline is shocked that scout can read at such a young age. Later scout proves that not only is she educated in school but well educated in school and about life in maycomb. She clearly explains that to miss Caroline “ miss Caroline and I had conferred twice already and they were all looking at me in the innocent assurance that familiar breeds understanding.
Imagine a world without an existence of creativity, all spontanious activity, love, and joy. A world without fun. Sounds quite dull doesent it? But how then do all of these characteristics come into the world? Well, by people, of course!

In To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, Jem believe Maycomb is Unjust because The Maycomb he used to know is not like what it is now, Which is shown when the prejudice members of his community are against Tom, Lula refusing to let Jem & Scout enter their church, and When he was punished for destroying Mrs. Dubose’s flowers. To Start Off, Scout was explaining on how the final verdict of the jury & judge affected Jem & loss faith in the citizens of Maycomb. Scout says, “I shut my eyes. Judge Taylor was polling the jury: “Guilty...guilty...guilty...guilty…” I peeked at Jem: his hands were white from gripping the balcony rail, and his shoulders jerked as if each “guilty” was a separate stab between them” (282). Maycomb is an injustice town because as every time the Jury said “guilty” it negatively affected Jem like he was being stab inside which illustrates how he was very confident in knowing that Tom will be acquitted & be found innocent but, after the verdict it had made realizes & lose hope on the members of his community.
Most authors write about characters that can be related to by the reader. To make readers able to connect more, the author has to make the character more realistic which means giving a character a flaw. The following books, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Odyssey and Of Mice and Men, are books we focused on this year and they all represented characters with flaws that the readers were able to identify and relate to. Boo Radley, Odysseus and Lennie were characters in the books that have flaws, but have good intentions. To Kill A Mockingbird, is a book that focuses on a town that faces racism.

Every girl has some type of tomboy in her, whether it is doing big dares or getting dirty. Scout Finch is an example of one of them. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee shows the personalities of Scout very well. Scout acts the way she is because of the way her father, Atticus Finch raised her. Jem and Scout are encouraged to step into other people’s shoes to gain insight into other’s lives. The kids are exposed to a harsh social understanding while also coming to know and understand the motives behind the people in their community. Scout’s father, Atticus Finch, takes on a case to defend Tom Robinson, an African American man accused of raping a white woman which leads to the struggles of the children.

The Awareness tactic can be a very a effective way for ENGO'S to not only pressure corporations and governments to action, but to gather the public and teach them about climate change as well as show them what's really going on. Some organisations use media to create public awareness about climate change issues simply to get people to change some of their desires in order to protect the environment. Many types of cars emit high amounts of gas emissions that are polluting the air as well as contributing to climate change. In 2005, Greenpeace United Kingdom organisation wanted to make S.U.V drivers and all citizens aware of the mass amount of polluting gas that SUV's emit (Turner, 2007, p. 107).
