To Kill a Mockingbird I believe that to Kill a Mockingbird shows social injustice. One reason this is shown during the trial for Tom Robinson's life, people chose the opinion of the white folk instead of the truth. Another reason is because people judge people by the way they live which is presented with the Cunninghams. For example, the Cunninghams. One example of this is when Jean Louise/Scout mentioned how weirdly Walter ate at the table after he poured syrup all over his food because he isnt used to that much food. As she continued to state facts about entailments, Mr.Cunningham began to grow weaker and weaker in the process of this mob. Feeling exposed, Mr.Cunningham turned and walked out of the jail with the rest of the mob following behind him. My last example of the cunninghams being judged for the way they live is in the beginning of the book when Walter didnt have lunch again and Scout began to see if he could buy food with a nickel, and then Scout began to explain that he shouldn't because he wouldn't be able to pay her back just because he's “A
