When you have a interesting title, that must mean that you wanna read a book, when you have visual aids it can have a nice impact on how you read the story. If you think about it, killing someone can be a sin if they are innocent. In the 1930’s stuff like this happened and it was unfair. The title is something that can relate to something that has multiple reasons. To Kill a Mockingbird is the better title because the Mockingbird represents Boo Radley, Tom Robinson, and Scout Finch as the mockingbird which resembles innocence.
Boo Radley resembles the mockingbird, because he was just trying to make friends with Jem and Scout, and the rumors were fake and he wasn’t insane. For example, “As we came to the live oaks of the Radley Place I raised my finger to point for the hundredth time to the knot hole where I had found the chewing gum” (38). Clearly stated that Boo Radley was trying to be a friendly and a civilized person by communicating to Jem and Scout, and he wasn’t doing anything wrong at that moment. Also for example, “...Mr. Finch, taking the one man who’s done you and this town a great service” (317). As a example, “She says she never kissed a grown man before an’ she might as well kiss a negro” (221). Tom wasn’t at all trying to hurt or tempt Mayella, he thought what she was doing was wrong and he also didn’t want to get in trouble and he was innocent. As another example, “Tom was a dead man as soon as Mayella opened her mouth and screamed” (276).
