Huck and Tom’s escape are both alike and different in many ways. The main similarity is they are both trying to escape, and leave behind things that at least give them more time to get away. In Huck’s case he wants to make it look like he was murdered so they would not come looking for him. In Tom’s case he left a straw person in the bed to buy more time. Huck has a more simple idea of escaping.
Huck arrives at the Phelps house he becomes to feel lonesome, because the droning of bugs and quivering of leaves make it feel “like everybody’s dead and gone.” He says that, generally, such a feeling makes a person wish he were dead too., as he approaches the house, dogs swarm around Huck, but soon a slave comes out and yells at the dogs to scram. The slave is followed by two black children, a white woman, Aunt Sally, and two white children. The white woman welcomes Huck, thinking that he is her nephew Huck. Aunt Sally then calls Huck into the house and asks questions about his journey, and because of this Huck is forced to lie, but when Aunt Sally starts to ask about his family Huck finds himself stuck.
Muff is knocked out, and Injun uses Muff’s knife to kill Dr. Robinson (97). Muff is framed for murder by Injun Joe (98). Muff was arrested and Tom felt so guilty that he goes and comforts Muff (113, 115). When Muff is on trial, Tom stands up and testifies against Injun, and frees Muff (215). The climax of the story is when Muff is framed for murder.
Atticus Finch, Tom’s representative, shows in the story how Tom being sentenced to life in prison is the county's fault. They also demonstrate real-life accusations made against the people who supported Tom and his family. Tom Robinson was pronounced guilty, because
Huck, Jim, the king, and the duke traveled south on the raft for several days. The king and the duke tried to cheat people in different towns while traveling south, thinking that as they travel farther away from their hometown the people would be less aware of them. All these attempts however were futile as the people learned about their tricks and the general public “jumped in and pranced them out of town”. Huck and Jim started to get worried about the King and the Duke when they both started to have private discussions among themselves. Due to this Huck and Jim decide to ditch them as soon as possible.
Tom gives Huck someone to look up to and inspires to be a better reader and writer. Tom doesn’t make an appearance in the movie. Therefore Huck missing that figure in the film entirely takes out the constant reminder for Huck to keep going, and to keep learning. A small fortunate portion of people in life has a friend who would give up their freedom or experience for them. The experience relates back to the friendship between Huck and Tom because they are childhood friends, which jumps into the most severe conflict with not including Tom in the movie.
In The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Huck Finn goes threw the hero’s journey which is the epic structure where they receive the transformation, atonement, and separation. Firstly, Huck undergoes the Separation step of his journey by faking his death. Prior to the planning of his own death, Huck had nothing to lose, pushing him over the edge. This is demonstrated when he thinks to himself about Providence. He thought “All I wanted was to go somewheres; all I wanted was a change, I warn’t particular” (Twain 2).
With the true murderer in the courtroom, Tom "was badly scared" (Twain 214) and conflicted on whether or not to tell the whole story, knowing that Injun Joe would without a doubt, kill him. " Tom began-hesitatingly at first" (Twain 216) and decided to put the wellbeing and condition of the falsely accused man before his own safety and life. Understandably, Tom only hesitated because he was very nervous and traumatized by the whole situation, as any 11-year-old boy should

Throughout the novel, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain uses Jim, a slave, as a source of symbolism for Huck’s maturity. First, Jim teaches Huck about what it truly means to be civilized. Next, Jim shows Huck about the value of family. Lastly, Jim teaches Huck about racial inequality and how to accept people.
The following day Huck made Tom swear to not tell anyone what they saw the previous night. Tom went into town and saw that Muff Potter was going to be imprisoned because of his said killings. Huck’s moral development can be said to be based primarily on those around him, especially Jim. Many instances also influence Huck’s morals, particularly during the raft journey that will change his beliefs and morals.
In Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Huckleberry Finn and a runaway slave Jim are two people that cross paths and become friends. Huck is a boy escaping society and society's morals. Jim is also escaping from society's laws to gain his freedom. Jim and Huck develop a close relationship during their journey on the raft and the relationship could be viewed as a father-son relationship.
In today’s expensive world, it is a common trend that the cost of university education increases as the cost of living increases. Most countries offer free education through high school, yet many question wether university education should be free as well. It is essential to ambitious students to have a university level degree, but not free of cost. These people believe that “if you are good at something, never give it for free”, since anything available for free of cost is hardly valued. Thus, if university education becomes available for free, then students may not find it to be as valuable.
