When people think of football, they might think of the glitz and glamour, and players who are paid to do what they love. The game of football is enjoyed and celebrated all over the world and has been since 1863. Football is more than a game--it is a culture, a way of life for fans. Fans determine which players are more popular, but statistics determine who is the greatest of all time. Football, one of the nation's most watched sports, embodies a plethora of important players who rely on their quarterback for direction; of the renowned quarterbacks of the NFL, three of the most successful are Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Joe Montana. Of the renowned quarterbacks of the NFL, Tom Brady is well known as the greatest quarterback of all time. Manning excelled in high school. He led his team to a 34-5 record over the years he was there(“Peyton Manning”). He was such a great player he was the nation’s number one recruit his senior season.
