For years Toyota Tacoma has been the only competitive midsize truck on the market until GM decided they wanted a piece of the action. 2012 they released their first luxury pick up with the Chevy Colorado then soon after there second more sleek GMC Canyon. Altho in there first years Toyota was still selling the tacom twice as fast as GM was selling the 2 trucks combine they had enough success the stick it out and grow every year since(Colias,Mike). Now going into 2016 all three trucks have been completely redesigned and are predicted to have three of the four top resale values in the United States. Then finally is GMs workhorse the Chevy Colorado they incorporated their new turbo diesel meaning unlike the other two it is a diesel truck now gas. It also averages 20 mpg like its two competitors but has 305 HP go give it the most power out of the three. The price is right in the middle of its two competitors at 34,996(www.kbb.com).
