1) If Toyota is not the cause of unintended acceleration, why was it blamed for it?
Last quarter of 2009 The leading Toyota motor corporation has faced disaster in their products because of unexpected quality issues, so to overcome in their fault they issued huge formal recall of their products all over the world. In this period, Toyota recalls around 5.2 million cars for floor mat problem and 2.3 million cars for accelerator pedal problem. For both case around 1.7 million cars and following this Toyota amplify 1.8 million cars from Europe and 75,000 from China (almost 9 million cars recall all over the world within a month).
Toyota was disappointed the public because they were not took quick action to the complains about unintended acceleration which was brought by public. The largest grave fault there was 37 people death since 2000 due to the unintended acceleration, which happened without the driver’s contribution. Moreover, USA People critic the company in negative way approximating that Toyota was frustrating to cover up their mistake and the U.S media condemn Toyota for a lack of transparency and action while in these issue.
