For starters, and African American woman Rosa Parks stood up for what she believed in. In source 1: “An act of courage” a white man need a place to sit on a bus. In 1955 African Americans had to give up their seats. Unlike Rosa Parks she refused to give up her seat. Rosa Parks believed that it was wrong and unfair to African American’s.
