During the war World War 2 things happened that changed the world the Holocaust, the tragedy, and the atom bomb. The atom bomb was one of the most important events that happened for which it ended war and stopped the fighting. Without the Manhattan project the world might still be fighting.
Many people were important in the Manhattan Project. For example the US Army helped produce the atom bomb for the use of the United States military Also the Columbia University performed most of the initial research critical to the project. More than 30 labs and 130,000 people were involved in the government’s nuclear research. During early 1939, some scientists in America, most refugees from Europe supported the use of nuclear fission for military uses
