Many people find the tragic deaths in Romeo and Juliet fascinating. William Shakespeare shows the hasty deaths of two young adults who made rash decisions that caused their untimely deaths. Shakespeare uses foreshadowing, dramatic irony, and allusion to illustrate that death is sometimes the action of one’s own free-will.
