There are many horrific villains in movies. Some examples are Farquaad from Shrek, The Stepsisters from Cinderella, and the Evil Queen from Snow White. These characters are all cruel and disrespectful people who want to disturb others’ lives. Thankfully, other people in the world remind us that there are good people in life that are not all bad. Some examples are Woody from Toy Story, Luke Skywalker from Star Wars, and Ariel from The Little Mermaid. A great amount of movies and Tv shows connect to other books like Tangerine by Edward Bloor. Selfish people never win in the end. In the book Tangerine Erik, the villain, depicts on how he cares so much about the “Erik Fisher Football Dream.” For example, without sorrow the only thing Erik thinks about is himself and the “Erik Fisher Football Dream.” Since he only cares about himself he doesn’t spend time with his family. Erik is also rude and disrespectful to his brother. On the other hand, Paul, is a generous kid who cares about other people in the world too, not just himself. An example from the novel is when during the freeze Paul helped Luis grow and keep the Tangerines alive. In contrast to Paul, Erik is worse than a villain. In the novel Tangerine the villain in this novel is Erik Fisher. He reminds of the which from the west. She is also a villain, from The Wizard of Oz. Erik is atrocious because he has the worst personality, he laughs when people die. For example, when Mike Costello dies his brother Joe Costello wants to take off his shoes because Joey remembers that whenever Mike took off his shoes he felt better. Take a guess at what Erik does. He LAUGHS, at what Joey is trying to do to make his brother feel better. In spite of Erik, Paul is a straight A student with a kind heart who cares for others. He does not laugh at other people for their actions. He is a generous person. Erik is just a true atrocious villain. Lastly, Erik is selfish and capricious, but he is mostly deceitful. Deceitful is a person who is always sneaky and wants to do things behind someone's back, just like Erik. Erik always wants to be substandard. For instance he is deceitful when he steals the jewelry and people's belongings. In the book Tangerine by Edward Bloor Erik and Arthur are mostly the spies and sneaky people who steal everything.
