Their bodies so malodorous and empty; Detective Johnson stood at the crime scene. The bodies of 5 teenagers lie before her; Hailey, Giselle, Troy, Penelope and Logan. "Not a single drop of blood. Suffocation? Pernicious gas?" Inquired Detective Wilcox. "No, no no. Something different. Something much different." responded Johnson as she kneeled at the scene. She took samples from the mouth and nose of each victim, and let them collapse into each individual baggie.

They could sense it. They could hear it. The creaking of the pine floors, the sudden chills that sprinted up and down their spines, leaving them grisly with fear. Stopped dead in their tracks, Penelope notices something hanging from the chandelier. “Hey guys…do you see that?” She pointed up at the noose still there, now empty of its occupant. “Is that the same one that Eve used on herself?” “Penelope, I think you’re getting to ahead of yourself.” Remarked Logan. Everyone was so occupied with the noose that no one ever noticed Hailey missing.
Eve dragged her to the commodious living room. Slowly transmuting into dust, Eve seeped into the lungs of Hailey, for she knew that Hailey was tepephobic. Hailey squirmed and gasped for air but every bit of open mouth caused more dirt to enter her body. Yet, still, no one came to her in this time of need.

The detectives were still musing over the how of these deaths. Although they noticed the many spider bites on Logan, they couldn’t find a single spider in the whole house. Surely there would be one spider, right? “You see this detective? Over 400 spider bites and not a single spider in sight.” Johnson kept murmuring about the bites saying something about mottled spiders and the noisome puss oozing from the decaying body.
