The Greek monster of discussion today is the Tuemessian Fox. The Tuemessian Fox is a giant fox that was sent by the Gods (possibly Dionysus) to eat the children of Thebes as punishment for a national crime they committed. Unlike any other animal, the Tuemessian Fox was destined to never be captured. Knowing this, a man named Amphrityon is sent to kill the fox. Amphrityon knows that the fox cannot be captured. So he comes up with a clever plan to send Laelaps to capture the fox. Since Laelaps is destined to catch anything it chases Amphrityon thinks that Laelaps will be able to catch the Tuemessian Fox. Instead what happened was Zeus looked upon the situation and realized the binding contradiction. With Zeus needing a way to settle the problem he turned both animals into stone and sent them into the stars. This is what made the constellations Canis Major (Laelaps) and Canis Minor (Tuemession Fox). …show more content…

Sheepsquatch is a bear sized animal with a whitish, yellowish and brownish fur that is matted down. He also has the horns of a goat and eyes set low on his head. One of the factors that makes him even more odd is that he has a long tail similar to that of a opossum. When Sheepsquatch is around it will be very clear because it reeks of sulfur. Sheepsquatch has claws on his front feet and sharp teeth. It is unknown whether or not Sheepsquatch is an omnivore or carnivore. What is known is that Sheepsquatch hangs around the rural parts of the Virginias. It is said that Sheepsquatch is very territorial, attacking anyone who comes into his territory.
