My constant urge to learn, explore and be a part of the fast growing world by contributing to its development has been instrumental in kindling interest in me for pursuing doctoral study at Tulane University (PhD in Chemistry). I am a graduate student having a MS in Pharmacology and Toxicology (Wright State University, OH) with a 3.3 GPA. I have experience in research, analysis, proofreading, writing skills, and can quickly adapt to meet goals in any environment. I would like to present my past performances as my credentials for success in future endeavors. I completed undergraduate courses in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) at Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (Orissa, India) with an 8.48 CGPA. I also completed a graduate course in Pharmaceutical Technology (M. Pharm) at GIET School of Pharmacy, affiliated to Andhra University (Andhra Pradesh, India) with an 8.47 CGPA. I gained thorough knowledge, skills from various courses like Organic Chemistry, Inorganic chemistry, Analytical chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Physical Pharmacy, Bio-pharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Novel drug delivery systems, Biostatistics, etc., and got an excellent chance to expose myself to the basics of administration of pharmaceutical industries which has fueled my interest in learning the process of drug approval (ANDA, IND) from the Food and Drug Administration (US-FDA) and other laws (GMP, GLP, ICH guidelines) that regulate the manufacturing process of drugs, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. I also learnt the skills of management and behavioral pharmacy during my industrial training and graduate thesis project on the topic “Development and evaluation of microsponges based gel for percutaneous delivery of acyclovir,” helped me to formulate a drug as a novel drug delivery
