He was living up to his thug persona with several arrest for violent offenses in 1990. He spent several days in jail for assaulting director Allen Hughes in 1994. In Atlanta October 1993 Shakur shot two off-duty police officers. One in the leg and one in the butt because they were harassing a black motorist.
