The book that I read is “Twisted” by Andrew E. Kaufman in which Doctor Christopher Kellan who works at Loveland Psychiatric Hospital. He directs a unit called Alpha Twelve, which is home to the most unhinged and psychotic killers that you can imagine. Throughout this book it gave a sense of an eerie and deranged atmosphere. Kellan starts to rethink everything when a patient named Donny Ray Smith comes in and is accused of murdering 10 young girls, he starts to worry for the safety of his own son. “Twisted” really puts you in the mind of Christopher and feeling from the stare of Donny Ray’s bright blue eyes. Christopher Kellan is a hardworking and dedicated father. He is fully aware of what his job entails and how it has affected him psychologically.
