2 key ideas in 4:2 In Shakespeares play Macbeth there are many key ideas. He says that the queen of Scotland is going downhill. She is going to be insane before the end of the play. The better a liar you are the more worried you are according to Lady Macbeth. She says things like this quite often actually. It is truly incredible the things that she is quite capable of saying and allowing you to understand. When you see the things that they speak of in Act 4:2 it is truly incredible. One of the ideas that you can see in this act is bad weather. What I mean by this is that he foreshows things with weather. When something bad is about to happen in the play you will see the weather change. Whenever Macbeth sends someone to be murdered the weather goes downhill. It also shows that the empire or the rule of Scotland is going downhill very quickly. Represented by water in the form of rain as the weather gets worse so does the situation that Macbeth puts himself into.
