In the amazing book of Twisted, the main character, Tyler Miller has made some poor decisions, like most teenagers. Some of Tylers decisions have been less thought out than others, at school, at home and other places. In the beginning of the novel, Tyler had been irresponsible and not taking the time to think about his decisions and the consequences they will have on him, however by the end of the book Tyler changed his ways and dealt with his consequences. One bad decision Tyler made was in the very beginning of the story. Tyler had a plan A and a plan B that both involved the school at which he attended. Yoda’s phone rang and it was Hannah, Yoda’s girlfriend who is additionally Tyler’s sister. Yoda said “Hey” “wake up, want to talk to your sister?” as he was waiving his phone in Tyler’s face. After Tyler said “No”, Yoda responded with “come o-o-o-on” as he shoved his phone in Tyler 's face once again, “Talk to her or she’ll be mad at me”. Which resulted in Tyler smacking the phone out of Yoda’s hand, it hit the floor and the battery popped out. Subsequently Tyler stood up, walked over, picked the phone and battery up, brought it back over to the table where Yoda sat frozen not saying a word. Tyler put the battery back into the phone and handed the phone to Yoda. Tyler felt remorse immediately and said “Still works, sorry”. Shortly after he lost his cool again when Yoda said “I’m just trying to help you” which led to him firing back with “You 're trying to stay on my good side so you can get into my sister’s pants.” These are just three examples of Tyler’s poor decisions. By the end of the novel Tyler has stepped up, and faced his consequences, above all, for the damage he caused to the school. To pay for the damages for spray painting the school, he was forced to sell his car, he also had to complete community service and probation
