The Tympanic Theater was founded on June 1, 2007. Their mission is to be “dedicated to producing new and developed work with fantastical, frightening, or absurd subject matter that provokes, inspires, and entertains. Through our use of vibrant storytelling, dynamic language, and colorful characters, we invite our audience to plunge headfirst with us into theatrical worlds that are fresh, energetic, and visceral.” This is what is stated in their about page, and to summarize this they want to give their audience a crazy, weird, and entertaining experience theater is new and fresh to the world.
