I knew I was destined to be a Trojan since the first time I set foot on campus. Through the countless universities I have visited, I couldn’t connect with them the way I connected with USC. Ever since that first time, I felt at home. I could sense the supportive community, the Trojan pride, and the many adventures that await me.
I was very inspired by USC’s history as it showed me the many obstacles it has faced to become the university it is today. Starting with only ten professors and fifty-three students, USC has grown to be such a distinguished institution through its unmatched diversity, intellectual environment, and a place of opportunities for its students. I want to attend an institution where I can cultivate and enrich my mind and grow as a student and person along with them. Coming from a two-year institution, my experiences have not felt whole as I do not acquire the same academic resources I need to complete the next steps in my undergraduate education as for the past two years I have dedicated my life to studying and challenging myself by taking the maximum units available and taking difficult courses in order to reach the next level of academic success that is only

If accepted, I would take advantage of the many student organizations available. Not only would I love to represent USC, but I want to further enhance my leadership skills by becoming an admission ambassador and share my stories with prospective students. A believer of enriching the community, I want to become a counselor for Troy Camp and influence the lives of children while making lifelong friendships with students with diverse backgrounds. I am also interested in writing for the Daily Trojan to showcase my writing abilities and share stories that will inform and entertain the Trojan
